Fireworks will sparkle over the Sonoma County Fairgrounds on the Fourth of July for the first time since 2019.<\/p>\n

The celebration, \u201cFired Up Freedom,\u201d features a full afternoon of festivities, including live music and food vendors, culminating in what promises to be one of the largest fireworks displays in the county.<\/p>\n

Another beloved local tradition, the World Pillow Fighting Championships, also marks its return at the Santa Rosa event. Once a hallmark of Kenwood\u2019s July 4th festivities, the pillow fights saw competitors duking it out on a pole perched over a mud pit, but that ended in 2006 after 40 years of friendly competition.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $10 per person and include parking.\u00a0sonomacountyfair.com<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n
